The countdown to the Sydney City to Surf has started with less than 6 weeks to go! To help you get into shape we have teamed up with PT & Life Enthusiast - Aimee Fischer-Gray who will share her 6 week program to get you in to shape for the big event.

Over the next 6 weeks we'll share Aimee's newest workout program and tips to keep your motivation strong.

Sydney City to Surf: 12th August 2018

MONDAY - EASY PACE RUN DAY ON TREADMILL

Foam rolling/ mobility work / 5 minute incline walk on treadmill to warm up.
8km run
20  min stretching afterwards

TUESDAY - CIRCUIT STRENGTH DAY

Foam rolling/ mobility work / 5 minute incline walk on treadmill to warm up.

3 sets:
10 x squats
10 side taps each leg
40 x mountain climbers
100 skips
20 x walking lunges

10 min jog to finish




WEDNESDAY – YOGA OR 45 MIN WALK




THURSDAY - INTERVALS

Foam rolling/ mobility work / 10 minute incline walk on treadmill to warm up.

6 x 1 min sprints / 2 min rest

10 minute cool down. STRETCH!!




FRIDAY - REST




SATURDAY - REST




SUNDAY - RACE DAY!!
