We put so much thought into our day-to-day attire (clothing lovers; I know you understand me here), and this dramatically affects mood, serotonin levels and overall how the day ends up panning out. So the best method of attack: out with the old, to make space for the new.

‘Sound of thunder on a dark winters night echos out of a doorway not far from where I stand, the sounds of voices billowing out of the door shouting a series of numerical numbers. Sounds of distress quickly follow behind the loud thunderess sounds. I peer through the light into the shadows and see the silhouette of a person moving like the wind and striking like lighting. I found Pilates after sustaining a back injury working overseas as a dancer. It started as a tool for me to manage my chronic back pain and to gain more control in the extreme range of movement required in dance. I was so intrigued by the human body and learning more about its movement that before long I was hooked.
